Kaniha: A joint mock exercise was conducted by National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) Mundali, Cuttack in association with CISF Fire wing at NTPC Kaniha Stage – 1 Hydrogen generation plant 30.05.2018.
During the exercise, procedure for gas leakage sealing and fire control measures were briefed. Rescue team NDRF team displayed how to evacuate effected victims for medical care from plant premises after providing first aid.
During the drill all team members e.g. combat team, rescue team, local police and other stakeholders participated actively. NDRF team was led by Sh. B. K. Sahoo, AC and S. K. Bhoi, Inspector.
On this occasion, Shri Ram Kuber, Executive Director, Talcher Kaniha thanked everyone present there for successful completion of the mock exercise and insisted to be prepared for any such challenges.
