Banki: “Naveen Patnaik is trying to mislead people in the name of #KALIA scheme, farmers aren’t getting any benefits from it. He is a corrupt chief minister,” says Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan in Banki.
“There is a huge nexus between mill owners and officials, forcing farmers to sell their hard earned paddy at price much below the MSP fixed by the Central Government. A local MLA from the ruling party was also jailed in the chit-fund scam. There were media reports that Sh. @Naveen_Odisha had launched the world’s largest ‘Jaga scheme’ but people of Banki are yet to get any benefit out of that scheme,” said Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
“It is very unfortunate that in Odisha & in the land of Maa Charchika, crimes against women is increasing, victims are not given justice. On the contrary they are disgraced by the leaders of ruling party in the state. in the 19-years of BJD Govt, from Kandhamal to Kalahandi to Puri to Kendrapara crime against minors & women hv increased in Odisha.Despite being located between Bhubaneswar & Cuttack, people in Banki are yet to get round-the-clock electricity & piped drinking water supply. There is a corrupt, visionless and insensitive government in Odisha. Farmers in Odisha are duped with schemes with no benefits. People have made up their mind to give a fitting reply to the lawless government in the state,” said Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
