Sambalpur: All India Public Sector Golf Tournament-2017 today commenced at Mahanadi Golf Club (MGC) with Mr A K Jha, Chairman & Managing Director, Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) unveiling the trophy in the august presence of Mr Dilip Tirkey, Hon’ble Member of Parliament (RS) and former Hockey India captain.
Mr J P Singh, Director (Technical/Operations), Mr L N Mishra, Director (Personnel), Mr O P Singh, Director (Technical/P&P) and Mr Kulwant Singh of Reserve Bank of India representing The All India Public Sector Sports Promotion Board (AIPSSPB) were prominent among golfers of participating teams from Oil India Limited (OIL), Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL), Indian Oil Corporation, Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Food Corporation of India (FCI), Coal India Ltd, South Eastern Coalfields Ltd., MCL, etc present on the occasion.
In this two-day-long tournament, 56 players of different public sector units are participating for the championship team trophy as well as individual achievements.
