Sambalpur: The trophy of the All India Public Sector Golf Tournament-2019 organised by Mahanadi Coalfields Limited(MCL) was unveiled by Sri Binay Dayal, Director(Technical), Coal India Limited in the august presence of Sri Bhola Nath Shukla,CMD,MCL and Sri O.P.Singh, Director (Technical/Operations), Sri K.R. Vasudevan, Director(Finance) and Sri Keshav Rao, Director (Personnel) at Mahanadi Golf Ground, MCL, Sambalpur on 20th December,2019.
The All India Public Sector Sports Promotion Board (AIPSSPB) , the premier sports body for all Public Sectors sports awarded this honour of hosting the prestigious tournament to MCL. The tournament will see golfers from from NLC, New India Aassurance, LIC, Paradip Port Trust, , Coal India Ltd, South Eastern Coalfields Ltd. and MCL, competing for the trophy.
In the two-day-long tournament from 21st to 22nd December,2019, 47players from PSU’s would be participating for the championship team trophy as well as individual champion. The tournament will be played on Net score basis.
