Madhya Pradesh to empower youth to eradicate corona

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that through ‘Yuva Shakti Corona Mukti Abhiyan’, about 10 lakh students of colleges of the state will play an important role in the eradication of Corona. They will make people aware about Covid friendly behavior and vaccination. In the second phase, about 8 lakh students of private colleges will be given training in this regard and people will also be made aware through them.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was launching orientation training of students of all government colleges of the state under ‘Yuva Shakti Corona Mukti Abhiyan’ through video conferencing at Mantralaya today. He also launched a mobile app ‘Covi-Sandesh’ designed for real time monitoring of the campaign. Higher Education Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, Principal Secretary Higher Education Shri Anupam Rajan etc. were present.

I have vaccinated, you should also get vaccinated

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan also interacted with the students of colleges through video conferencing. All the students told that they have got themselves and their families vaccinated and are motivating others to get the vaccine too. Their slogan is ‘I have got the vaccine, you should also get the vaccine and protect yourself and your family from corona.’

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan interacted with Sushri Megha Mewada of Ashta Government College, Sushri Nandini of Madhav Science College, Ujjain, Shri Tanmay of Government College, Ashoknagar and Sushri Pooja Agarwal of Government College, Barwani. Everyone also appreciated the work of conducting examinations through open book method during the Corona transition period.

What is the campaign

Higher Education Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav informed that Yuva Shakti Corona Mukti Abhiyan is being run in the state. Under the campaign, work is being done to ensure covid friendly behavior and society’s participation in covid vaccination through students studying in government colleges and universities of the Department of Higher Education and Technical Education. Principal Secretary Higher Education and officials of Technical Education Department, State level officials of National Health Mission and UNICEF, lead colleges of all districts, principals of engineering and polytechnic colleges and district vaccination officers have been trained as master trainers. The professors of the colleges of the district have been trained by the master trainers. Orientation of students in groups of maximum 50 each students by trained professors has been started from today. In this, information will be given to the students about the importance of Covid friendly behavior and vaccination. The campaign will continue for 30 days and there will be 2 sessions of 1 hour each in all the institutions every day.

Special features of covid friendly behavior

Be sure to wear a face mask. Make wearing a mask a part of your daily routine. Do not go out at all without a mask.

Not wearing a mask is a social crime. If there is no mask then there will be no goods, if there is no mask there will be no talk, if there is no mask then there is no movement.

Vaccination is one of the most effective measures to prevent covid infection. So do get yourself vaccinated and inspire others as well.

Wash your hands regularly with soap or sanitizer.

Maintain a social distance of 2 yards from each other.

Do not leave the house unnecessarily. Do not go to crowded places.

Ensure social distancing among customers by making shells outside the shops.

Take decoction of turmeric, basil, ginger, mulethi, black pepper, clove.

For Vitamin-D, sit in the warm sunlight in the morning.

For Vitamin-C, take lemon, amla, orange etc.

Exercise daily with walking in the morning.

Avoid mental stress as much as possible.

Use desi drinks like – lemonade, buttermilk, soup, coconut water etc.

Do not allow the deficiency of water in the body.

Yoga not only provides physical but also mental strength, due to which the power to fight against diseases increases within you. To stay healthy, make yoga an integral part of your life.

Must plant at least one tree.

Strictly follow the corona protocol and rules.

If you see symptoms, get tested immediately and isolate, so that you do not become a spreader of infection.
