Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that in this era of Corona crisis, there is no work as noble as getting the vaccine yourself and motivating others to get the vaccine. Vaccine gives us protection from corona. If all the people of 18+ in the state get the vaccine, then even if the third wave comes, its effect will be minimal.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, while appreciating the work of corona control and vaccination in Madhya Pradesh, has assured that Madhya Pradesh will continue to get adequate number of vaccine doses. So do the vaccination as fast as you can.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that a target of 10 lakh vaccines has been set in the state on June 21. Efforts will be made in future also that approximately the same dosages should be taken in the state every day. With this speed, we will complete cent percent vaccination work of 18+ people in the state by October-November.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was reviewing the situation, arrangements and vaccination work of Corona in the state through video conferencing at Mantralaya today. Medical Education Minister Shri Vishwas Sarang, Chief Secretary Shri Iqbal Singh Bains, Additional Chief Secretary Health Shri Mohammad Suleman etc. were present in the meeting.
In-charge minister appeal for vaccination
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that all the in-charge ministers should appeal to the public to get the vaccination done in their respective districts and try that maximum 18+ people should get their vaccination done and also motivate others.
Be alert every day, make all your preparations
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that remain alert towards corona every day, do maximum testing, and make all your preparations. A complete arrangement of oxygen, ICU beds, children’s wards, children’s ICU and medicines etc. should be maintained.
Positivity of all districts less than 1%
The weekly positivity of all 52 districts of the state has come down to less than 1%. 5 or more new cases have come in only 4 districts of the state. There have been 24 new cases of corona in Bhopal, 21 in Indore, 9 in Jabalpur and 5 in Ujjain district.
No case of corona in 23 districts
There is no new case of corona in 23 districts of the state including Alirajpur, Anuppur, Ashoknagar, Balaghat, Barwani, Bhind, Burhanpur, Chhatarpur, Dewas, Dindori, Jhabua, Katni, Khandwa, Mandla, Morena, Sagar, Sehore, Shahdol, Shivpuri, Sidhi, Singrauli, Tikamgarh and Umaria.
Bhind and Burhanpur completely corona free
Bhind and Burhanpur districts of the state have become completely corona free. No new case has come here and there is no active case. At the same time, there are 3 each active cases of corona in Dindori and Mandla districts. There are 4 active cases of corona in Alirajpur and 5 in Khandwa district.
29th place of the state in corona infection
Madhya Pradesh ranks 29th in terms of comparative transition among states and union territories. 110 new cases of corona have come in the state. The number of active patients is 2727. The seven-day positivity rate is 0.3% and today’s positivity rate is 0.2%. Today 71 thousand 421 tests were done.
