Bhopal: In the Cabinet meeting held in Mantralaya today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, it was decided to enforce 21 posts of State Election Commission Headquarters and 255 posts at district level, thus total of 276 temporary posts, from March 1, 2021 to February 28, 2022.
Approval of payment from SDRF head
The Cabinet decided that in order to ensure the availability of oxygen due to urgent need during the transition of Covid-19, the payment of transportation expenses of medical oxygen tankers by rail and air from different states and the rent of carriers of cryogenic tankers hired through various means should be borne by the State Government and this payment should be approved from SDRF head.
Approval of more than Rs 43 crore of Chief Minister’s Relief Fund
In view of the need for setting up oxygen plants to make the state self-reliant in the field of medical oxygen production, requirement of remdesivir injection and liposomal amphotericin-B injection to purchase them directly, ex-post facto approval was given by the cabinet to arrange Rs 43 crore 78 lakh from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund as per the decision of the executive committee constituted under the Disaster Management Act.
Approval to establishment of ITI in Garatganj
The approval has been given to the establishment of a new government ITI under the Department of Technical Education, Skill Development and Employment in the development block Garatganj under the assembly constituency Raisen. For the establishment, operation and up-gradation of this ITI, an estimated expenditure of Rs.14 crore 13 lakh will be made. A total of 30 posts were sanctioned for this ITI.
Relaxation in index
The cabinet decided that relaxation in index in Narmada Valley Development has been given for those tenders whose approval is under consideration. For other projects whose tenders have not been received or invited, the proposal for necessary relaxation in the index will be submitted to the cabinet in due course.
Irrigation Project
The cabinet gave revised administrative approval of Rs.134 crore 59 lakh for 2950 hectares of irrigation area of Mohgaon Medium Irrigation Project.
