Bhubaneswar : Dr. Pratibha Ray , eminent Odia fiction writer’s new novel “Prapteshu Pruthibi” was released today at Police Bhawan amidst a galaxy of writers, readers and her fans in an exclusive function organized by the Pratibha Ray Foundation Trust. This novel explores the psycho-social factors of religious terrorism, in the violent by-lanes of the world, in the most unusual way.
It is a post-modern novel about religious and ideological factionalism and the search for global peace, a sequel to her widely acclaimed novel “Sesha Ishwara”.A creation based on contemporary times, it analyses the complexities of Triple talaq and article three seventy.
The Vice-Presdent of the Trust, Dr.Adyasha Das gave the welcome address.The eminent speakers of the occasion Shri Sitakant Mahapatra, Dr. Prafulla Mahanty , Shri Bamapada Tripathy, Editor, The Samaj and critic Shri Basant Kumar Panda all expressed that the book was a symbol of spiritual environmentalism.The writer presented the first copy of her book to her college friend Professor Agastee Mahanty.On behalf of the foundation, the vote of thanks was presented by Shri Lalit Das, IPS, ADG Police.The program was hosted by Shri Debaprasad Dash.
