Bengaluru: KLM launched Bengaluru – Amsterdam a thrice-weekly direct service starting 31st October 2019 , opening more opportunities for travel from India by offering easy connectivity to over 160 destinations around the world via the convenient hub of Amsterdam Schiphol.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Jean – Noel Rault, General Manager, Air France – KLM, Indian Sub-Continent said,
“India is an essential priority market for Air France – KLM. The launch of our direct flights between Bengaluru and Amsterdam emphasizes the group’s commitment to India. Bengaluru is India’s Silicon Valley and one of the world’s most dynamic city. It was then a natural choice as our 3rd KLM Indian Gateway to connect India to the world via Amsterdam
Operated with a Dreamliner, our most modern aircrafts, We are committed to provide our Indian customers with our best in class services.
Such developments, are strengthening our Indian footprint and our global network”.
Adding to it, Mr. Satyaki Raghunath, Chief Strategy & Development Officer, Bangalore International Airport said, “We are pleased to welcome the flag carrier of Netherlands, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines to Bengaluru. The thrice-weekly direct service to Amsterdam, further enhances Kempegowda International Airport Bengaluru’s reputation as the gateway to a new India. Boeing 787 Dreamliner will operate on this route featuring 30 seats in World Business Class, 48 seats in Economy Comfort and 216 seats in Economy Class.
