Bhubaneswar: In the aftermath of the Severe Cyclonic Storm “FANI”, Bhubaneswar has gone through a total green cover transformation, from what was once one of the greenest cities here in the East, to a barren wasteland in a matter of hours.
Lost green cover however, takes a longer time to bounce back and it is in filling this gap that JAE as an association of entrepreneurs wants to contribute significantly. We take it as our social responsibility to undertake a plantation drive aptly named “Sabuja Kranti” to plant an ambitious 1,00,000 number of trees in the Industrial and Institutional Areas of Khurda, Cuttack and Puri districts. It has been the mandate of our Entrepreneurial Association to plant trees and already made remarkable progress in the same.
Juggernaut Association of Entrepreneurs, (JAE) inaugurated the plantation drive coined “SABUJA KRANTI” since June, 2019 and have planted more than 10000 saplings so far. Govt. Dept. encouraging the JAE Mission of planting one lakh saplings in Puri, Khurda and Cuttack districts which are affected by Cyclone Fani. On this day of 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi Ji (02nd October, 2019), JAE, at Bhubaneswar continued the Sabuja Kranti by planting fruit bearing trees at the DDCE campus of Utkal University. It was taken forward in the presence of Sri Sujit Kumar Acharya, Director, DDCE, Sri Janardhan Sahoo, President, JAE, Sumantra Misra, General Secretary, Rashmita Choudhury, Joint Secretary, Purabee Purnasha Mishra, Lipak Choudhury, Badri Samal, Manoj Nayak, Dinesh Routray, Sumanta Das and many other members. The Director of DDCE thanked the JAE for the initiative and also assured to take the maintenance of the plantation within their premises.
