Bhubaneswar : The Indian Council of Agricultural Research – Central Institute of Freshwater Aquaculture, Bhubaneswar has been conferred with the prestigious international ISO certification. The certificate was presented to the Director of CIFA Dr J K Sundaray by Sri Subrat Panigrahi, Managing Director, Institute of Quality and Environment Management (P) Ltd., Bhubaneswar today.
The Institute was judged by Joint Accreditation Services of Australia and New Zealand on the basis of its excellence in scientific research, skill development and transfer of knowledge in freshwater aquaculture. ICAR-CIFA is the first central government institution in Bhubaneswar to receive the latest version of the ISO certification i.e. ISO-9001:2015 informed Sri Panigrahi. He urged the employees to commit themselves to provide timely and efficient service to its stakeholders.
