IIT Bombay is authorized to issue the GATE 2021 scorecard to all the qualified candidates. Once the GATE 2021 result is announced on March 22, the scorecard will be visible on the official website. To download the GATE result 2021, the candidates will have to visit the official website. The candidates should download the scorecard and keep it safe, as the scorecard is used to take MTech admission and various PSU recruitments. The scorecard is a mandatory document that must be presented during the admission and counseling process in any university across India.
The GATE result 2021 scorecard is considered an official document that gives a ‘Qualifying status’ of the candidate with a validity of three years right from the date of announcement of the result of GATE 2021. Candidates can download the GATE result 2021 by the end of May 31st, 2021. If the candidates forget to download the scorecard before the official day, they will have to pay a fee to download the admit card.

It is important to note that only those students who qualify for GATE will be able to download their scorecard once GATE result 2021 is announced. Those who do not qualify, will not be able to download the scorecard.
The procedure to download the GATE 2021 scorecard is simple. Here is a step-by-step to download the official admit card:
Step 1: Visit the official website and click on the required link to download the scorecard. Or the candidates can directly open the GOAPS portal – and download the admit card from here.
Step 2: The candidates will be required to login to the official website with the right credentials, i.e., email id/enrollment number and password.
Step 3: Click on the score tab.
Step 4: The score gets appeared on the screen
Step 5: Click on the relevant download link, and then take a printout of the same.
The Details Mentioned on the Admit Card
The scorecard is an official document that gives the status of ‘Qualified’ to the candidate. The scorecard mentioned several details of the candidate and various other information as follows:
- The full name of the candidate
- Registration number of GATE 2021
- The gender of the candidate
- The paper which the candidate appeared for
- The total GATE scores out of 100
- The raw score of the candidate, the total score obtained out of 110
- The total validity of the GATE score
- The all-India rank of the candidate in the paper for which the candidate had attempted the exam.
- The qualifying marks for all categories – General, OBC, SC, ST, PwD
- The total number of candidates who appeared for that paper/
The candidates need to follow the steps mentioned above to download the scorecard; otherwise, they will not be able to. It is also essential to download the scorecard within the specified date; otherwise, the candidate will have to pay the fees and follow some added procedures. The late fee is INR 500, which must be paid on the GOAPS portal. This facility is also limited to a certain date, which will be announced soon.
With the above-mentioned steps, one can download the official GATE 2021 scorecard as soon as it is released.
