Tankadhar Budhia, retired Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of Police from Kegaon Police Station in Kalahandi district, has been convicted and sentenced to rigorous imprisonment. The Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhawanipatna, found him guilty under various sections including the Prevention of Corruption Act for demanding and accepting a bribe. Budhia has been sentenced to one year of rigorous imprisonment and fined.
