Bhubaneswar: The Navnirman Krushak Sangathan (NKS) has called for Odisha band on February 21 over farmers issue. This was informed by the NKS national convener Akhaya Kumar today.
Kumar said that everyone has the right to freedom of speech and expression, but the government has snatched these rights from the farmers, who are said to be the backbone of the country. Kumar also alleged that the police have been torturing and threatening the farmers.
