Bhubaneswar: Eviction Near Lingaraj Temple to continue but steps will be taken to rehabilitate permanent landholders as per law; arrangements being made for resettlement of small traders & encroachers for the time being. This was informed by the BMC Commissioner Prem Chandra Chaudhary after meeting with stakeholders .
All owners of small shops which were razed would be rehabilitated first. Drainage system & lighting of the streets will be improved: Congress leader Sura Routray, after meeting with BMC Commissioner, ADM Khurda & 10 member delegation of the traders.
