Bhubaneswar: Eram Scientific Solutions Private Limited will install 60 pre fabricated modular toilets across the city. The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) Has issued the letter of award to the company, a market leader in manufacturing pre fabricated stainless steel toilets in India.
In the bidding process for the pre fabricated toilets conducted by the civic body, three companies i.e. Indutech Solutions & Manufacture Private Ltd, Eram Scientific Solutions Private Ltd and JSL Lifestyle Private Ltd participated. However, the Thiruvananthapuram-based Eram Scientific Solutions won the bid with its lowest quotation of Rs 5.80 crore. BMC has also finalised all the locations where the modern pre-fabricated toilets will be placed.
The pre fabricated stainless steel toilets will bring a new concept in having well-maintained hygiene toilets to the city. The 60 prefabricated modular toilets would be placed at 30 designated locations in the Capital City. Out of these 60 toilets, 30 numbers is specified for men and rest 30 numbers is specified for women. So at one place or location one will be for men and the other for women. Further out of these 60 toilets 40 are classified into semi-automatic and 20 fully automatic models.
It is basically a solution to encounter the hygiene issues caused due to lack of sanitation. The designing and construction of modular toilet are very flexible to the users of it. The durability is very strong as it is made up of stainless steel.
The fully automatic ones are having the capability to clean the toilets on its own. The fully automatic toilets are capable of creating an environment perfect cleanliness resulting in zero or no contamination from urinary tract infection or UTI like illness. The fully automatic ones would require card-based entry and the semi-automatic are manually operated. For better maintenance and sustainable approach both will be chargeable so that the operation and maintenance would be smooth and easy.
The selected organisation will install the pre-fabricated toilets within 80 days from the date of signing of the agreement.
