New Delhi: Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan Launched the Comprehensive National Nutrition Survey Report on Odisha, one of the largest-ever survey commissioned to give a detailed insight into the malnutrition concerns in the state.
The research adopts a holistic approach towards understanding malnutrition by gauging the extent and severity of micronutrient deficiencies in both children as well as adolescents while also including several other aspects like food intake, education, social practices etc.
Addressing malnutrition requires multi-sectoral collaboration.
We must generate awareness and create synergies between all stakeholders, Central Govt, State Govt, industry and the civil society to ensure better nutrition for our children, women and youth. UN Sustainable Development Goals aims to end all forms of hunger and malnutrition by 2030. This report is a right step in that direction.
