Bhubaneswar: DAV Pokhariput commenced online classes for its students from UKG to Class XII from 23 March 2020 to help its students continue their studies in their own stay-home environment. While this initiative keeps the younger ones engaged in various educative activities, it gives the opportunity to the senior students to pursue their studies effectively.
Using various web-platforms available, the teachers of the institutions are reaching out to their students for virtual classrooms. The students are enthusiastically participating in the program and are eagerly communicating with their teachers. ‘When the world is fighting against COVID-19 valiantly, we are training our students how to grow emotionally and academically in difficult situations,’ said Dr. Sujata, the Principal of the School, emphasizing on the objectives of web-based classes. Sameeksha Dash, a student of Class-X, remarked that she is very happy to talk to her teachers and friends online and learn very comfortably at home.
Parents seeing their wards engaged meaningfully in curricular and co-curricular activities are appreciating this initiative. Dr. Sujata has appealed to the parents and the students alike to take the best benefit of the online classes and stay safe at home to help the govt. keeping everyone protected.
