Massive transformation is taking place to ensure irrigation facilities to the farmlands. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will inaugurate the underground pipeline system of Kusumi Barrage and 5 minor irrigation projects in Nayagarh. The foundation stone of 46 projects at a cost of ₹2,906 crore is being laid.
