Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday in a videoconference had a discussion with Australian High Commissioner to India Barry O’Farrell regarding Australia’s cooperation with Odisha in different sectors. The High Commissioner praised Patnaik for way Odisha is promoting India hockey team and way State has become a pioneer in promoting hockey. It was agreed that there is a huge scope for cooperation in trade and technology between Australia and Odisha.In addition, the use of skilled human resources in Odisha was discussed.The meeting also stressed need for cooperation between Australia and Odisha in mining research.
