Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik extends New Year greetings to people of Odisha.Chief minister Naveen Patnaik was among the thousands, who thronged Jagannath Temple in Puri on the New Year’s Day on Monday.
After having a darshan of the deities, the chief minister took stock of ongoing repair of Jagamohan of the temple. He also visited Samadhi of his father Biju Patnaik and paid floral tributes. CM Patnaik also inaugurate the ‘Sanskruti Bhavan’ the first one in the 2018 Monday.
In the morning on Monday CM Naveen Patnaik met Governor Dr. S.C. Jamir and extended New Year wish to him. Party supporters, Ministers, officials, common people also gathered at Naveeen Niwas to wish CM Naveen Patnaik to on New Year.
Earlier on Sunday Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik extended his New Year greetings to the people of Odisha in Odia through an audio visual clip. ‘’Mora priya bhai O bhauni mane, apana mananku, smastanku mu nua barsa ra abhinandana janauchi (My dear brothers and sisters, I wish you all a very happy new year),’’ said the Chief Minster in the audio visual clip.
