Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the condition of Corona infection in the state has come under complete control. This has been possible due to the coordinated efforts of all the public representatives, MPs, MLAs, officers, employees and the public. The positivity rate in the state has come down to 4.2 percent. But even the slightest carelessness can cause trouble, so give a final blow to the roots of Corona and free villages, wards, panchayats and the entire district from Corona by 31st May. The state government is ever ready to help each victim’s family. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was reviewing the status and arrangements of Covid in the three districts of Narmadapuram division namely Betul, Harda and Hoshangabad today in the NIC room of Hoshangabad district.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that activities will be normalized from June 1 in a sequential manner. But till 31st May, Corona curfew should be strictly followed in the entire division. Events like wedding ceremonies etc. should be postponed till 31st May.

Intensive monitoring must in micro containment zone
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that micro containment zones should be formed in highly infected rural and urban areas. In such areas, the administration should play an active role in identifying patients with symptoms like cold, cough and fever and begin their treatment immediately after providing them medical kits. In this work the Crisis Management Groups must play an active role. The system of home isolation should be perfect for infected persons. In case of lack of adequate space in the houses, the patient should be admitted to the Covid Care Center. Continue with sanitization work.
Conduct maximum tests
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that maximum testing work should be done after adopting aggressive testing strategy. Mobile testing should also be done after adopting sector-wise strategy. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that all efforts should be made to save the lives of each and every patients. Intensive monitoring of each patient admitted on ventilator and oxygen beds is must.
Ensure necessary preparations for the third wave
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan told to ensure preparations to face the third wave of Corona infection in Narmadapuram division. Corona protocol should be followed so strictly that the third wave does not come. Oxygen beds, ICU beds should be increased. Adequate oxygen availability must be ensured. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the state government will give subsidy and rebate in electricity bill on setting up oxygen plant. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that proper arrangements are also being made by the government to treat black fungus. Necessary medicines are also being arranged for the treatment of black fungus. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan directed to make arrangements for diagnosis of black fungus in all three districts.
Continue Kill-Corona Campaign
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the Kill-Corona campaign should continue. Every person affected by cold and cough, should be identified and provided with a medical kit immediately. Treatment should be arranged as required. There should be no delay in identifying the symptoms of Corona and starting treatment. Corona patients admitted in hospitals should be given the best treatment. Every effort should be made to save the patient’s life.
Maharashtra border must remain sealed
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the risk of Corona infection increasing through Maharashtra and other states is high. Hence the Maharashtra border should be completely sealed. Teams should be deployed at Itarsi railway station, through which intensive screening of citizens from outside the station should be done.
Not a single dose of vaccine should go waste
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that according to scientists, vaccination is the most effective way to prevent Corona infection. Crisis management group and social workers should clear the misconceptions against vaccination and make people aware about it. It should be ensured in Covid vaccination work that not even a single dose of the vaccine is wasted.
Ensure that poor and middle class families get free Covid treatment.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Corona destroys one financially along with one’s body. It should be ensured that all poor and middle class families get free Covid treatment under the Mukhya Mantri Covid Upchar Yojana.
Assistance during crisis
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the state government is making every effort to help poor families in the circumstances arising out of Corona. Two months ration is being provided by Prime Minister Shri Modi and three months ration by the state government. Free ration is distributed to all eligible beneficiaries. It should be ensured that no one goes hungry in the city. Special care of social distancing must be taken during ration distribution. Necessary precautions must be ensured to protect against Corona during tendu patta plucking. Pension of Rs 5000 per month, free ration and free education is being arranged for children orphaned in Corona. Funds will be released to the accounts of construction workers and self-help groups. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that it has also been decided to provide assistance of Rs one lakh to families with Covid deaths.
Collectors provide information through presentation
Collectors of Hoshangabad, Harda and Betul districts gave information about the efforts made for Covid control in the district during the review meeting. Suggestions were also given by all MLAs of Hoshangabad district to enhance health facilities.
Collector Hoshangabad Shri Dhananjay Singh informed that the Kill-Corona campaign has been successfully implemented in the district. This has resulted in reducing the positivity rate in the district. Health facilities have been strengthened at all health centers in the district including the district hospital. Also, adequate availability of oxygen beds, essential medicines at hospitals and health centers has been ensured through continuous monitoring. Work of wheat procurement on support price from farmers was also successfully implemented during Corona infection period. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan expressed satisfaction over the efforts made by the administration for Covid control. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that with the coordinated efforts of public representatives and administration, Corona infection could be controlled in the three districts. He congratulated all the public representatives, officers, employees social organizations and field administrative staff for their active role.
