New Delhi: BJD announces support for Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2019 introduced in Lok Sabha on Monday. However, BJD demands inclusion of Sri Lanka from where refugees will be allowed saying Hindus and Muslims are being tortured in that since long.
BJD spokesperson and RS member Sasmit Patra says there is no link between the Citizenship Amendment Bill and NRC. The scope of NRC is very wide and needs detail discussion, Patra said .
