Bhubaneswar : Geared up for the upcoming panchayat elections next year in February, Biju Janta Dal (BJD) today appointed new senior observers and district observers for all districts.
As per the notification, MLA Bikram Keshari Arukh, will take charge as senior observers of Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Rayagada and Gajapati districts.
Besides, MLA Debi Prasad Mishra will also take charge as senior observers of Ganjam, Nayagarh, Kandhamal , Puri , Boudh and Khordha district, MLA Niranjan Pujari of Nuapada,Kalahandi, Bolangir and Bargarh and MLA Soumya Ranjan Patnaik of Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Soenpur, Deogarh, Angul and Dhenkanal.
Further ,MP Prasanna Acharya will take charge as senior observers of Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, Jajapur, Bhadrak and Balasore and senior leader Maheswar Mohanty of Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar districts respectively.
Meanwhile, many Ministers, MPs, MLAs and senior leaders were also appointed as district observers
