Bhubaneswar: ALUMOF, the Mascot of INCAL-2019 has been received at the Corporate Office of NALCO, Bhubaneswar today. Dr. Tapan Kumar Chand, CMD, NALCO welcomed the mascot, in presence of the Directors, senior officials and employees of the company.
It may be mentioned that ALUMOF – Aluminium : The Metal of Future, is the Mascot of the 7th International Conference and Exhibition, INCAL -2019, which is scheduled to be held from 31st January to 3rd February 2019 in Bhubaneswar.
The Mascot has been developed to promote the 7th International Conference and Exhibition on Aluminium, which has major focus areas in three levels – International Level : Projecting Aluminium the Metal of Future; National Level : Augmenting the huge scope of Aluminium Industry in India, by scaling up consumption of the metal; State Level : Promoting Odisha as the Aluminium Capital of India.
ALUMOF was formally launched by Hon’ble Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Panchayati Raj and Mines Shri Narendra Singh Tomar, in the presence of Union Minister of State for Rural Development Shri Ram Kripal Yadav, several Members of Parliament, Shri Anil Mukim, IAS, Secretary, Mines and Dr. Tapan Kumar Chand, CMD, NALCO and Chairman, Aluminium Association of India on 21st January 2019 at the Statue of Unity, Vadodara.
