Bhubaneswar: 1995 batch of Maharshi College of Natural Law (MCNL), Bhubanewar had organised get-togeher meet for first time after 22 years at college campus on 13th November. It was a memorable day for MCNL’s Class of 1995 when more than 60 former students met up for a reunion.
Adressing the alumni reuunion meet, Sri Basant Kumar Sahoo, Former Principal, MCNL said, “Alumni play a large role in determining the future and continued development of an institution. It is only because alumni, MCNL was awarded with National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) accreditation with B of the University Grants Commission (UGC). He also said that most of the students are nostalogic about the time they spent in college and they gained more than just an education from college, so it is imperative that they should try give back to the alma mater”.
Many old students from MCNL have carved out a niche in various fields like Law, Media & Public Relations, Teaching, Real estate, Government and Private sectors.
Kartik Sahoo who forayed into Hotel and Sanitary business after leaving the college has made mark for himself in the society. Like Karitk they are many old students have gained success in their respective fields.
Sri Ashok Pradhan, former lecturer, Political Science said, ” it was glad to meet up with his old students whom he had not seen for 22 years”.
