Adani Foundation set up ‘Aama Pathagara’ in rural schools of Odisha

Dhamra: To promote education in rural areas, Adani Foundation has taken a new initiative in the form of establishing library ‘Aama Pathagara’. In this context a library has been inaugurated at Sukhchand Manna ME School of Kaithakhoala Panchayat on 18 Dec. 2019. Adani Dhamra Port HR Head Tapas Acharya inaugurated it by cutting the ribbon. In this ‘Aama Pathagara’ Programme Adani Foundation has commenced libraries in 8 schools of Dhamara Port periphery area.

More than 5000 students of 08 periphery schools have benefited due to this project. Besides the course books, General Knowledge, greatmens’ biographies, novels and Newspapers are available in these libraries. In which students will go beyond knowledge boundaries and would get update about the day to day incidents. On this occasion Anup Kumar Das, cluster coordinator, Kaithakhola Panchayat, Head Master Mr Rabindra Kumar Das, School Management Committee members and teachers were also present. Adani Foundation CSR Head Satya Ranjan Mishra coordinated the programme.
