New Delhi: The 39th meeting of the Goods and Services Tax, GST Council held in New Delhi. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman chaired the meeting.
The Meeting is also being attended by Finance Ministers of States & UTs and Senior officers from Union Government & States.
It was decided to reduce the GST rate on Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) services in respect of aircraft from 18% to 5% with full ITC and to change the place of supply for B2B MRO services to the location of the recipient.
GST council extends the due date GSTR 9 and GSTR 9C till 30th June 2020 from 31st March 2020 for the FY 2018-19. GST on mobile phones, specified parts increased to 18% from 12% says Finance Minister.
