Vice-President Venkaiah Naidu to visit Balangir on December 27

Bhubanswar: Vice-President Venkaiah Naidu is scheduled to visit Balangir on December 27 to inaugurate an LPG bottling plant at Barkani and attend the platinum jubilee celebrations of the Rajendra College.

Senior BJP leader KV Singh Deo informed this to reporters here on Thursday. He attended a dharna staged by the Bolangir Action Committee demanding early completion of the Lower Suktel irrigation project, establishment of a permanent Bench of the Orissa High Court and early completion of a bypass road here.

“I express my gratitude to Union Surface Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari and Dharmendra Pradhan for clearance of bypass road project at the cost of Rs 190 crore, which was pending with the State Finance Council of the NHAI for last few months,” said Singh Deo.
