Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik addressing the all party meeting held today announced that ASHAs and ANMs shall undertake household survey of persons with Covid symptoms and other typical diseases, for three months, starting from 24th May. He also declared that Gaon Kalyana Samitis shall be involved in Covid containment measures. The Samitis, ASHAs and ANMs will be given incentive.

Chief Minister further declared the widows who lost their spouse in COVID shall be included in Madhubabu Pension Yojana and children who lost their parents in COVID shall be given free education.

Chief Minister said that the Sarpanchs shall take decision regarding imposition of lockdown and opening of TMC in the villages, considering the gravity of the situation.

Chief Minister further said that Task Force will be constituted for smooth management of oxygen supply with preparation of a Master Plan.

Dr. Surjya Narayan Patro, Hon’ble Speaker presided over the all party meeting and the MLAs presented their valuable suggestions.
