Bhubaneswar: Ministry of Power and its CPSUs (NTPC, PowerGrid, REC) have mobilized resources to assist Govt. of Odisha to restore power supply in Cyclone affected areas in Odisha.
Ministry of Power coordinated for the supply of 17 Generator Sets to Puri, Bhubaneswar, and Cuttack for emergency power supply. These have been operationalized to restore water supply & other essential services.
Power Secretary is monitoring relief & restoration work post Fani. High level team consisting of CMD, PowerGrid and senior officials of NTPC & REC are camping at Bhubaneswar for early restoration of power
