Bhubaneswar: Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan today met senior officials of the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) today at Bhubaneswar and reviewed the progress of restoration of telecom services in Cyclone Fani affected areas of Odisha.
The DoT officials informed the Minister Pradhan that basic services of BSNL and other telecom companies shall be operational very soon. They have apprised the State Government of the need for electricity to make the telecom exchanges functional.
They also informed the state government officials of the resistance faced by BSNL teams from irate locals due to non-receipt of relief.
