Bhubaneswar: UNDP India delegation meet Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patanik. The high-level UNDP India delegation including UN Resident Coordinator Mr Yuri Afanasiev, UNDP country director My Jaco Cilliers and additional country director Dr Rakesh Kumar met CM Naveen Patnaik at the state secretariat.
Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik discussed issues of state interest like health, education, tribal affairs and administrative reforms with United Nations and UNDP India resident representative Mr. Yuri Afanasiev. Along with UNDP in India country director Mr. Jaco Colliers, Mr. Afanasiev expressed support for the issues and appreciated initiatives taken by state government for the same.
They discussed strengthening of partnerships on Odisha’s development objectives. UNDP India delegation appreciated the state government’s efforts in achieving the goals and committed full support to our initiatives in health, education, food security, tribal welfare and administrative reforms.
