Bhubaneswar: Telangana Govt. has extended support for restoration of electricity in Odisha. Supply of power was disrupted due to #FaniCyclone. On Tuesday 1000 employees from various power utilities of Telangana State have left for Odisha.
CM KCR positively responded and given instructions over telephone to Chief Secretary Sri SK. Joshi and TRANSCO CMD Sri D. Prabhakar Rao to offer support to Odisha.
Due to extreme cyclone Fani electricity poles fell and power transmission lines broke down. Supply of electricity was crippled. In view of this, the government of Odisha requested the government of Telangana to extend support in restoration of electricity in Odisha.
