Supreme Court orders Floor Test in the Maharashtra assembly to be held on November 27

New Delhi: Supreme Court orders floor test on Wednesday for CM Devendra Fadnavis to prove majority support in Maharashtra Assembly. Floor test to be concluded by 5 pm tomorrow and that will be conducted by Protem Speaker after he administers oath to MLAs.The vote by MLAs during the floor test will be through open ballot and not through secret ballot, says a bench of Justices N V Ramana, Ashok Bhushan and Sanjiv Khanna.

Supreme Court’s three-judge bench, headed by Justice NV Ramana and comprising Justices Sanjiv Khanna and Ashok Bhushan, reading the pronouncement of the judgement on the petition jointly filed by NCP-Congress&Shiv Sena against formation of BJP-led government in Maharashtra.
