Kaniha: NTPC Kaniha has been undertaking numerous initiatives under its CSR initiative for promoting education.In this regard the power station has distributed school bag & water bottle at Dumuduma Nodal UP School on 26th September 2018.
Distribution programme was held in presence Shri P.K.Sahu, DGM(HR), NTPC Kaniha ,Shri M.V.Rao, ES(HR), NTPC Kaniha Shri Bijay Kumar Pradhan, Sarapanch, Hariharpur Gram Panchayat with the presence of Headmistress of the School.
On the occasion DGM(HR) ,Shri Sahu, emphasized on the role of school in a student’s life to become a good citizen and good individual in the society. Sarapanch, Shri Pradhan focused on the quality of education & the role of school bag & water bottle towards attaining the education objective. He thanked NTPC Kaniha for its noble approach to this school.
Headmistress of the school, Smt. Jyotsnamayee Dwibedi appreciated the social activity of NTPC Kaniha and expected the cooperation in future also through NTPC CSR initiatives. Around 150 students were benefited by the initiative.
