Puri: Puri’s Golden Beach received its coveted Blue Flag in an official virtual ceremony. The Blue Flag was hoisted by Hon’ble Minister of Tourism and Hon’ble MLA, Puri at the Puri Beach while Prakash Javadekar, Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India led the digital Blue Flag hoisting through VC.
The Blue Flag hoisting event was attended by the Dist Collector, SP Puri, PadmaShri Sudarsan Pattnaik, DFO, Sub-Collector, BMC members and other dignitaries. The people responsible for the upkeep of the Blue Flag Golden Beach were felicitated on the occasion.
