Punjab declares result to recruit fisheries officer posts

Chandigarh: The result of the written test conducted on 25th July 2021 for the direct recruitment of 28 posts of Fisheries Officer (Group-C) in the Fisheries Department of the Punjab Government announced on 30th July.

It was disclosed by Mr. Raman Bahl, Chairman, Staff Selection Board, Punjab here today. Elaborating further, Mr. Bahl said that under the Ghar Ghar Rozgar Scheme of Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh’s government, the Board has released advertisements for more than 3300 posts. These include Patwari and Ziledaar in Revenue Department and Water Resources Department, Warder and Matron in Jail Department, School Librarian in Education Department, Industrial Development Officer in Industry and Commerce Department, Block Level Extension Officer, Excise and Tax Inspector.

So far the Board has conducted the written examinations for the posts of Clerk (Legal), School Librarian and Fisheries Officer and the results have been announced. Recommendations regarding eligible candidates for these posts will be sent to the concerned departments soon after counseling. Examination for the post of Patwari and District Collector to be conducted on August 08, 2021.

Mr. Bahl further said that adhering to the policy of impartiality and transparency Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh’s government, the Board would conduct the examination in a transparent manner with the help of modern techniques like jammer, biometric, videography etc. and the recruitment would be done purely on merit.
