Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has called upon the public representatives of urban bodies to cooperate in breaking the corona chain. He has said that Yoga se Nirog campaign will be started soon, in which a Yoga trainer will help every 10 positive patients perform Yoga through phone call and give advice on diet and boosting morale. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was virtually addressing the public representatives of urban areas from the Chief Minister’s residence in connection with the prevention of Covid-19. Regional MPs and MLAs also attended the video conference.
Medical kits should be distributed to all positive patients
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan asked public representatives of urban bodies to cooperate in efforts to break the Corona infection chain. He said that 25 thousand people are infected with corona in the state, while 7 crore 99 lakh 15 thousand have recovered. It is the responsibility of all of us to protect them from infection; those who are healthy should stay healthy and stay at home. He asked the public representatives to contact the patients in the home isolation over the telephone, review the arrangements of the Covid Care Centres, and ensure that the medical kits are distributed to all the positive patients. Wherever a case of cold, cough, fever is reported, get them checked immediately and along with the investigation, medical kits should also be supplied to them. Medical kits do not have side effects and do not allow the infection to spread. He said that positive patients should stay in home isolation. If there are no arrangements in the home, they should be kept in the Covid Centre.
Public representatives must motivate people for vaccination
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that no one should leave the house unnecessarily till April 30 during the Corona curfew and the work of vaccination should be done at a rapid pace. For this, motivate more and more people to get vaccinated. He said that it has been scientifically proven that 99 percent of those who have received two doses of vaccine have not been infected. Whenever they got infected, they were moderately affected. This is due to increase in immunity against the disease. Therefore, conduct vaccination work on a wider scale. There will be free immunization for the above 18 year age group from next May 1. For this, make comprehensive vaccination plans in your area.
Rs one thousand deposited in accounts of street vendors
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that for the protection of livelihoods of street vendors and pavement vendors, one thousand rupees have been deposited in their accounts immediately. They will be provided free ration for three months. He appealed and said that the street vendors should take care of their health. Their needs will be fulfilled by the government. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that arrangements for food etc. for migrant labourers will be made through Deendayal Rasoi Yojana. He also laid special emphasis on sanitization and cleanliness efforts.
Kadha distribution campaign will run
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that to end the corona, its roots have to be attacked. He said that a campaign will also be launched to distribute the Kadha soon. It is important to provide information to people about the things that increase the resistance against disease and to distribute them among public. Along with treatment systems, the government and society will have to work together to prevent infection from spreading.
Janata Corona curfew, for the people and by the people becomes effective
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan applauded the decision of many mohalla committees not to leave till April 30, saying that the Corona curfew is an effective work of the people, for the people and by the people. Because one can fight against Corona only by staying at home and not by stepping out of homes. He said that with Janata curfew, the number of infected people has become stable and soon we will be able to reduce it further.
