Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated ferry services connecting Nagapattinam, India, and Kankesanthurai, Sri Lanka. During his virtual address, he stated, ‘India and Sri Lanka are entering a new phase in diplomatic and economic relations, and the ferry service revives historical and cultural connections.’
