Puri: Thousands of Biju Yuva Vahini volunteers led by Sports Department and Odisha Tourism officials organized cleanliness drives along 3km stretch of Puri beach and at Grand Road. They highlighted before local community the detrimental effects of polluting plastic on environment and eco-tourism in the state.
As the state gears up for Odisha Hockey Men’s World Cup 2018, multitude of such initiatives to be carried out for ensuring a memorable experience for incoming teams and tourists and keeping our beaches free of polluting plastic.
