Report by Ashok Palit, Bhubaneswar: Jagadish Mohanty(born 1951) is no more. He died ( 29TH DECEMBER, 2013)in a train accident at Belpahar, Jharsuguda. Mr Mohanty known as a renowned story writer & novelist and considered as a trendsetter in modern Odia fiction. He has received many prestigious award including Odisha Sahitya Academy Award. Indian feminist writer Sarojini Sahoo is his wife and he has two children Anubhav and Sambedana. The loss is never filled. OdishaDiary pray god to rest his soul in peace and to give enough of strength to Mrs Sarojini Sanhoo and alll family members to bear this great loss and face the world to cherish his ideology and creativity.
