Report by Kahnu Nanda, Jagatsinghpur: The farmers body Nava Nirman Krushak Sangathan [NNKS] resorted demonstration and protest meeting in Jagatsinghpur headquarters on Saturday giving solidarity to the farmers agitating at New Delhi demanding withdrawal of farmers bill 2020 being implemented by union government recently. Carrying flags and shouting slogans supporters of NNKS took out a rally from Town Hall here and the procession culminated at Thana Chhak where leaders addressed the farmers in a public meeting. criticizing both state and union governments NNKS leaders described farming meant three agriculture laws introduced by Modi government are anti-farmer, protesting central government endeavor thousands of farmers are in stir at New Delhi since ten days we members from NNKS support the agitation and demanding cease of new farm laws and dialogue with the agitated farmers. Later NNKS supporters burnt the effigy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Thana Chhak. NNKS leaders Rashmi Ranjan , Devi Prasad Moharana, Nitya Nanda Panda, Ashok Swain were led the agitation.
