Bhubaneswar: The scheduled inauguration of the Gurupriya bridge in Malkangiri district by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday has been deferred indefinitely.
The decision was taken due to the heavy rains occurring in the State. The bridge is now likely to be inaugurated on July 19 or 20 The bridge’s construction has already been completed and third party inspection has been done by the New Delhi-based Central Road Research Institute (CRRI).
