Bhubaneswar: Odisha Govt conducts 50,525 Covid-19 tests in 24-hrs. RTPCR – 5106,Antigen – 45343,TruNat – 76.
This was informed by the State Health & Family Welfare Department today. The positivity rate in Odisha has come down drastically from 9.2% a month back to 5.5% on August 16th. The Government continues to focus on improving the testing rate in the State to control Coronavirus.
Odisha became the leading state in the country with 1,096 COVID19 tests per million per day, among the large states. CM Naveen Patnaik thanks everyone for scaling up testing facilities on war footing and strengthening Odisha’s effort to save every precious life.
