Bhubaneswar: The selection committee of Lokayukta under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will meet tomorrow to select the Lokayukta. Odisha Chief Secy AP Padhi today informed the SC in an affidavit that the Lokayukta will be appointed by Mar 31 & will start functioning by Apr 8.
Orissa High Court Chief Justice Justice KS Jhaveri, Speaker of the Odisha Assembly Pradip Amat, leader of the Opposition in the Assembly Narasingh Mishra and former SC Judge AK Patnaik are the other members of the committee.
