Bhubaneswar: The final semester examinations of undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) students would be held online in July and August this year. Plus 3 and PG students can appear in the exams from their homes or at their nearest degree colleges.
This was informed by Higher Education Minister Arun Sahoo after a virtual meeting of Vice-Chancellors of universities held on Friday. “The VCs have decided to conduct the exams online. College administrations have been asked to take necessary steps to ensure smooth conduct of the examinations. The decision has been taken keeping in view the adverse (Covid-19) situation,” said the Minister.
However, the exact dates for conduct of the examinations would be decided by the authorities of the universities and autonomous colleges. Students can also give exams for their previous or back papers online in July and August, he added.
