Bhubaneswar: DGP, Dr.R.P. Sharma,reviewed Poll Preparedness through VC with senior officers.He instructed SsP to be extra vigilant & leave no stones unturned for ensuring a free,fair,transparent & incident free election & to make adequate security arrangement during Road Show & Public Meeting.
The DGP asked the SPs to take care of the security of the contesting candidates. He further asked to provide PSOs to the contesting candidates of the three major political parties. Sharma also reviewed results of the enforcement drives taken by different districts on issues like bounding down of persons u/s 110 CrPC, seizure of illegal arms, seizure of illicit liquor and execution of NBWs.
