Bhubaneswar: Odisha DGP directs SPs of all districts to make necessary security arrangements & provide protection to former MP Kharabela Swain during his scheduled meetings across the State.
On the other hand another accused P. Govindrao was arrested today in connection with the attack on Swain during public meeting at Kashipur in Rayagada on November 24. Meanwhile, one Sumant Nayak, who was earlier arrested in connection with the incident, was today sent on a three-day police remand. However, another accused Krushna Nayak is still absconding.
It should be noted that Swain was allegedly assaulted by some youths while he was addressing a meeting in Kashipur in Rayagada on Saturday.
