Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik to visit Baleswar today. to attend BJD regional youth conclave

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik during his visit to Baleswar on Wednesday. During his Balasore visit, Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik will lay foundation stone for the ₹5,000 crore Subarnarekha Port project being developed by Tatasteel, Mega Rural Piped Water Supply Project of ₹172.91 Cr, High Level Bridge over river Subarnarekha of ₹189.97 Cr and various other development projects.

Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik will lay foundation for much cherished ₹ 5,000 Cr Subarnarekha Port which will employ 12,000 people directly and indirectly, giving major boost to port-led development in the region. The port will have an initial capacity of 25 million tonnnes (MT) which can be expanded up to 80 MT in future.

Subarnarekha Port will revive the historical port that existed in 17th century in Baleswar. It will be one of the biggest port to be developed in eastern coast of India and third port to be developed by state after Gopalpur and Dhamra, transforming #Odisha into a major maritime state

The tower would be made in similar pattern of Fortune Tower of Bhubaneswar to cater to the growing demands for space to accommodate trade, commerce and corporate organisations.

The tower would be a hub for various trading and commercial activities and give a boost to the economic growth of the region, said the District Industry Centre manager Harihar Jena, adding that the tower would be made by the Idco in its land .

According to sources, the tower would be built in an area of 2.94 acres of land in the DIC colony premises with an estimated cost of Rs 36.6 crore.

As per design, the building would be G +plus 6, besides there would be a basement for parking

Out of 7,980 square metre area, the main building while would be made on over 2,700 sq metre area, the basement parking area would be around 4,800 metre.

First three floors while would be for facilitating the business and industrial houses, the other three floors are earmarked for corporate activities.

This tower is equipped with lift system and other facilities like food court, banks, ATM kiosks as well as a park would be available.

The other major projects, whose foundation stone would laid, are Rs 4,200 crore Subarnarekha port, ring road around Baleswar town and a rail over bridge near Tamulia level crossing.

Around 30,000 youths from Bhadrak, Mayurbhanj ,Keonjhar and Jajpur and Baleswar would attend the BJD regional youth conclave to be held in Police Line field.
